RANDALLSTOWN, MD — Mattei Compressors recently hosted its Spring 2018 Service School for distributors at its headquarters in Randallstown, MD. The school graduated 17 representatives from Mattei distributors across the United States and Canada, on both the sales and service disciplines.
The classroom portion of the two-day training covered operations of Mattei’s full suite of compressors, dryers, and accessories. Participants then received hands-on instruction with Mattei compressors, learning how to maintain and troubleshoot the machines.
A key success factor for the Service School was teaching sales and service personnel in the same course.
“We strongly believe in training sales and service staff in the same session,” said Jay Hedges, President of Mattei USA. “When the sales and service sides are exposed to each other, they learn to speak the same language and each become more effective in their respective roles.”
Two representatives of Sawyer Compressor were also able to join us for the training, at which time we presented them with their Distributor of the Year Award.
